The Kenyatta family has donated 2 000 acres of the family's 30 000-acre land to settle squatters in Taita Taveta.

Speaking during a press conference at State House, Mombasa, Spokesman Manoah Esipisu said that squatters on the said piece of land would be given title deeds in a few month's time.

President Uhuru Kenyatta ended his stay at the coast today but Esipisu said the head of state would return to the coast soon to visit other counties; Kwale, Tana River and Taita Taveta.

Esipisu also confirmed that the President plans to work from other towns outside Nairobi in the next coming months.
