Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has endorsed Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s son for the EALA bid.

Kuria declared his support for Kennedy, saying: "It is wrong to deny any Kenyan an opportunity just because he is from a known family."

Adding when Kennedy Musyoka's name comes up in the National Assembly for nomination to EALA, I will vote for and support his candidature.

In an interview with Capital FM, the MP further said the East African Legislative Assembly is open to all so nobody should be denied the chance.

People should be judged on merit. I will ensure no young person is denied the opportunity to serve this country.

Regarding leaders opposed to Kennedy’s nomination, Kuria said they are serving their personal interests. He noted their choices are not Jubilee Party's.

In May, Jubilee MPs said they will not participate in the nomination of members to the EALA if Kennedy is on the list.
