NAIROBI: 15 Arraigned In Court For Trying To Acquire Land Forcefully

Fifteen people have been arrainged in a Nairobi court to answer to charges of forcefully trying to acquire a piece of land in Upperhill.

The suspects, who are suspected to be members of Mungiki, allegedly raided the property of Plovers Haunt Limited and terrorized the directors of the company while armed with crude weapons.

They pleaded not guilty to the charges and were released on a cash bail of KES 20 000 or a bond of KES 100 000.
