Paul Pogba's agent slapped with worldwide transfer ban

Mino Raiola will serve a three-month ban from practising as a football agent in , according to reports.

The super-agent, best known for representing  among other high-profile clients, was handed the suspension by Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) who have also banned his cousin Vincenzo for two months.

The reasoning has not been revealed, but unconfirmed reports suggest it involves the transfer of Gianluca Scamacca from Roma to PSV in 2015.

An FIGC statement said: 'The Sports Procurators Commission, any other exception, deduction and defence rejected, condemns Mr Carmine [Mino] Raiola and Mr Vincenzo Raiola, on his own behalf and as legal representatives of the companies they represent to sanction of the suspension from the exercise of the activity of sports attorney to the extent, respectively: with regard to Mr. Carmine Raiola, of 3 months, with regard to Mr. Vincenzo Raiola, of 2 months.'

Massimo Diana, the lawyer for both men, is expected to ask for the full details of the suspension and request it is suspended.

Alongside Pogba, Raiola also represents players including Matthijs De Lit, Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The ban is reportedly only set to apply in italy and will not affect his business in England or the rest of Europe.
