Photo of the day: Meet the woman who touched many hearts during 14 Riverside attack

On Tuesday evening, a loud blast and gunshots were heard in 14 Riverside drive in West lands in an Al Shabaab terror attack.where by three people were confirmed dead and some were evacuated from the building

Officers at the scene said the attackers came with a vehicle wearing a bulletproof vest ready to attack.

“Several hostages have been held in Dusit hotel and we are waiting for back up,” the officer told the Star.

The operation of evacuating people from the building where the terrorists had held them hostage took over twelve hours.

After a long night the security personnel and the paramedics had, a woman touched many people hearts after she out of her own good will brought them tea and bread.

The photo of the unidentified woman serving tea has since gone viral, with Kenyans commending her for braving the situation and treating the officers and paramedics to a deserved breakfast.
