City goons hired to demolish a school in Buru Buru over a land dispute have been laid bare on social media.

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko rushed to the rescue of school administrator whose school building was demolished by hired goons.

Sonko revealed why he took such drastic action to save school children from staring at an empty space come the next week.

He wrote:

It's painful to see School going children being beaten up, and thrown out in the rain by hired goons, yet we have a Country Governed by law and order. I also urge the youth not to be misused by crooks who want to acquire property illegally.

This afternoon, I managed to stop an attempted grabbing of City Church in Buru Buru after a well-known land grabber hired goons to demolish structures in the church in a bid to take over the property.

This is a heinous act by the land grabber and should not go unpunished. I’m appealing to the Inspector General of police and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to take action against the police officers who escorted the armed youth while attacking church members.

I will personally pursue the matter in court to ensure justice is done to the genuine owners of the property.
