Two-month-old baby burned to death in Eldoret fire incident

A two-month-old baby has been burned to death after a house caught fire at Racecourse Estate in Eldoret.
Father to the children Ibrahim Ameya says he had left the child on a bed in their house and charcoal which he had put under the bed caught fire.
The house was completely burned with all property in it and efforts by residents to save the child did not succeed.
"The child was asleep and the house caught fierce fire making it difficult to put it off", said Ameya.
He explained that he had been given fresh charcoal by a neighbour and he suspects it stiff had fire that caused the inferno.
Police visited the scene and removed the body of the child which was burned beyond recognition.
