VIDEO: Ghost Analyses Kenya-Ethiopia CHAN Match

Kenya will be hoping to overcome a 2-goal deficit against Ethiopia on Saturday when the two sides meet at the Nyayo National Stadium for a CHAN 2016 qualifier match.

The competition will be held in Rwanda between January 16 and February 7 next year and with the Walya Antelopes having defeated Harambee Stars 2-0 on June 21, Kenya will have to win by three or more goals so as to proceed to the next stage of qualifying where they would play either Burundi or Djibouti.

FKF Technical Directoe Jacob Ghost Mulee admits that Kenya has their work cut in as far as eliminating Ethiopia is concerned but he still expresses confidence Harambee Stars will have the last laugh as all is not yet lost.

Referring to recent performances by the Harambee Starlets and Kenya U23, Ghost believes if Kenya shows the same spirit against Ethiopia tomorrow, a trip to Rwanda next year would be possible.

Harambee Starlets eliminated the Botswana Women's team on away goals last month following a 2-2 aggregate score and hence remained on course to feature at the Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro next year. On the other hand, Kenya U23 fell shot by just one goal of keeping their Rio hopes alive after they were knocked out by Botswana on away goals following a 4-4 aggregate score.
