If you are looking to improve your Swahili vocabulary then you should make a point of listening to Radio Jambo everyday after the 8am news bulletin.
News reader Yusuf Juma puts on a different hat, that of a Swahili teacher.
He goes ahead to teach Gidi and Ghost, as well as Radio Jambo listeners, words in the language which they probably never knew about but are helpful in their daily use of the language.
