Yesterday's episode of Patanisho was very touching as Gidi and Ghost tried to reconcile a woman, Lavender, with her mother whom she has not been on speaking terms for close to 10 years.
According to Lavender, who is now married, she and mother have not been on good terms after she took her to court because she had refused to pay her school fees when she joined secondary school.
Lavender claims that her mother, who is a teacher, instead wanted her to get married after she completed her primary school education. Hoever Lavender was eager to continue with her education and through the Children's Court she was able to "force" her mother to pay fees for her.
Efforts to reconcile the two did not bear fruits as Lavender's mother refused to talk and hang up the phone twice leaving a tearful Lavender to narrate to Gidi, Ghost and Radio Jambo listeners of the troubles she has gone through to get her mother to forgive her.
