Popupar street preacher charged for causing disturbance, demanding to see CS Matiang'i

A Street preacher who is regularly seen near the Ambassador Hotel, has been charged in a Nairobi court for creating a disturbance and demanding to see CS Matiangi at Harambee house.
Jemimah Wangari Waruingi appeared before Milimani Senior  Magistrate Kennedy Cheruyiot where she pleaded guilty to the charge of shouting at security personnel guarding the office of the President.
Wangari was accused that on 25th June, along Harambee, she created a disturbance in a manner likely to breach "peace" by demanding to see Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi. She allegedly told the guards"Lazima nione Mr, Matiangi, shida yangu ijulikane leo".
The 45 year-old preacher who is a regular fixture in City streets is known for her controversial prophecies where she allegedly predicts deaths of prominent politicians in the Country.
She claims that God has anointed her to deliver messages about success and tragedies to Kenya’s top politicians.
 The Court is expected to sentence her this afternoon.
