His much needed support comes just almost exactly an year since Tottenham players and staff hosted the legendary marathoner just after he had won the London marathon.
At the Spurs training ground, he was congratulated by Harambee Stars skipper, Victor Wanyama, head coach Mauricio Pochettino and a number of the players in a memorable outing.
On his post, Kipchoge says it is his time to support Tottenham after the club showed him ‘great support’ last year.
Last year I had the chance to visit and meet with the @spursofficial team and they have shown me great support since. Now it’s my time to support.
